The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
One of the very best parts of my job is seeing the interactions between families, the love, the connections, the things that make a family a family. We all know that every parent loves their children just as much as we love our own but seeing it with your own eyes is so much more real and magical.
Alison and her husband are no different they LOVE their kids and it is so easy to see in every interaction they have with them, be it laying their hand on the top of Ms. I's head or picking up Mr. B and give him a quick cuddle, their love is there for all to see. I and B are so fun and silly and full of giggles, always a sure sign of well loved kiddos.
Sometimes it's the smallest details that show just how great a Mom or Dad someone truly is. Just check out Troy's wrist... yes those are silly bands, that's LOVE.
I love that these two siblings obviously like each other, it's obvious because they were willing to touch each other. LOL I know how that goes, one of my kiddos gets along with both of their siblings and the other two can't stand to be near each other for the most part *sigh* I keep hearing they'll grow out of it, right?!
But these two, these two clearly enjoy each other <3
Ms. I is a girly girl to her core, I know because I had to edit glitter off her face. I laughed when I saw it how could you not?
She loved being in front of the camera... and the camera loved her back! I am a bit infatuated with this image right now, the colors, the sun shining through the fur on her hood, the smirky little smile...THANKS for this I
Mr. B is a silly little man in his own right... I have lots of great photos of his silly faces.. LOTS, I am planning a whole post just for silly faces so you don't get to see them today. :) But I think this will help make up for it, how cute is he?!
Can you believe his eyes.. so big and blue and those lashes *swoon*.. I'm pretty sure he will have girls flocking to him when he gets older.. that is if he doesn't already. :)
I simply had a great time with this family.. all of them. Alison and Troy were great to work with and the kids were just easy peasy.
I think this screams Holiday card. :D
Alison and Troy and kids thanks so much for having us, as always we love seeing you and getting to know your adorable kiddos.
