I have been gone all week from my blog, and almost all internet activity.. gasp! I got sick :( and truly was barely able to sit and breath let alone sit and breath and run a computer. But I am on the mend, be it a slow, stuffy mend, but a mend just the same and finally had the energy to sit down and get this post done. :)
They can make or break some things but for a wedding they are just the cherry on top, totally unnecessary but those details certainly make it all that much more beautiful. :)
Audra did a lot of the work on her vintage wedding herself... a. lot. From the sweet little keys that served as seating cards to the invitations(pictures of those in another post) to the favors, she made sure that every detail was perfect for the vision she had for her day. And she pulled it off flawlessly, huge kudos to Audra and Matt for the perfect details, the cherry on the top of a perfect day!
I loved the old books and vintage colored glass vases on all the tables and the "P" on Matt & Audra's table was totally adorable. I also had a bit of envy about her cake table, an old sewing machine stand with chippy white paint *sigh*
Aren't the seating cards too sweet for words, each key had a little word of love on them and Audra hand inked each tag to make it look like it had been sitting in someones attic for the past 70 years. I knew it was meant to be for me to photograph Matt & Audra's wedding when I saw the vintage camera, my heart actually skipped a beat! Oh and how can I forget those favors, jars that Audra decorated filled with honey.
The dress and the flowers.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. the dress, the length, the little lace jacket, the simple skirt and the gorgeous bodice. LOVE.
Can you believe this reception hall? Stained glass windows and all.... really you have to check out 49 Franklin if you are getting married in or around the Rumford area!
Oh, why yes, that is an old record player Audra's bouquet in on.
The bridesmaids flowers were in adorable little purses that matched the colors of the flowers.
As a couple they decided to do a first look.. YAY! This little moment was one of my favorites, mostly because right after this she poked him in the chest with the pin... he was not mortally wounded and it certainly was a good way to get rid of the jitters. :)
They got married at this sweet little church, no electricity, more gorgeous stained glass.. simply perfect for Matt and Audra.
There you have it.. part one of Matt and Audra :)
Stay tuned for more, involving cool old cars, cops and dancing!
