On September 7th Paul and I headed out bright and early to meet up with Emily and Chris for their wedding at Broadturn Farm, in Scarborough. When we arrived I was pretty sure I had died and gone to heaven! I could have spent hours just photographing the flowers and animals all around the farm.
Emily and her girls got ready in the farmhouse, lovely light, beautiful and cheery artwork and rustic vintagey details everywhere I looked. This was going to be good!
Emily's gown was a perfection of lace, body fitting beautiful lace. <3
Funny story, when Chris asked Emily about her dress she told him it was hot pink, he of course didn't really believe her. So Emily had her soon to be MIL create a cover to go over her dress inside the dress bag, knowing that Chris would peek and he did and when he looked he saw hot pink peeking through the dress and bag, he was convinced she had gone and done the unthinkable and bought a hot pink dress. hehehe
Emily was a beautiful bride, she glowed... she really did!
Her flowers were cut and arranged right there at Broadturn Farm in their farmstand/flower shop FloraBliss. Stunning!
I knew I was in for a FUN day when I saw the inside of the guys very traditional navy blue jackets... zebra strips and hot pink piping! Then they brought out the cuff links... STAR WARS!!!!! Oh yes this was going to be a good day!
The guys were getting ready at a nearby hotel and wanted to get a few fun shots together before they headed over to the ceremony.... who am I to say no? ha! I loved it!
You will notice the bride held a gorgeous bouqet, the groom had hotdogs for his photo. I didn't ask.
Thanks so much Emily and Chris look for your next post coming next week!
