Way back in August I photographed Erin and Maya's wedding. It was a small ceremony with their closest friends and family in attendence, held on a gorgeous coastal family property, presided over by an old family friend... it was simply lovely.
From the moment I walked in I could feel the love this family has for each other. Mum was busily managing the final prepartions(like directing me where to go :) ), Erin's two sisters were helping her to get ready... everyone was pitching in to make this day absolutely perfect for Erin and Maya.
Erin was getting ready in her parent's new home, while Maya and the guys were at the small cottage a short walk away.
While we didn't get any photos of the guys getting ready per se we did catch this sweet moment between mother and son, as Maya had his Mum put his boutonniere on.
Erin's dress was absolutely stunning! I could have taken photos of just it and her in it all day long.
Did I mention that Erin and her sisters made the bouquets and boutonnieres themselves? They did, amazing!
The ceremony itself was held in a field overlooking the ocean, to get to it you had to cross a small bridge over a little ravine, it was the perfect entrance for a bride and her party.
Erin's mum and her sisters walking over.
Erin's dad has a great sense of humor, the wedding was planned rather quickly(just a few months of planning) so he wanted to get this shot of Erin and himself. lol
Erin and her Dad have a private conversation before he walks her down the aisle. So sweet!
I have to admit I did feel a bit like I was spying, hiding behind that bush like I was. :D
Look for ceremony photos coming soon(and by that I mean sometime this week, not 3 months from now haha, no more extended breaks for me!)
