I was so very fortunate to photograph these absolutely gorgeous woman in 2013.
My first wedding of the season was an elopement in May in Bar Harbor, at Jordon Pond. Sarah was so sweet and I love love loved her short dress, it fit the day perfectly.
Then I had quite a break until my next wedding in July. Kelly and Reid were married at The Fort here in Bristol, but this cute little cottage is located at The Bradley Inn(the caterer for their reception at The Contented Sole), it is a perfect place for a bride to get ready. Kelly and Reid had a day chock a block full of amazingness including a boat ride to the reception site. Kelly looked gorgeous in her dress, it was the perfect compliment to her perfect day!
Then another smaller break that lead up to my crazy fall of weddings almost every weekend!
Emily and Chris were married at Broadturn Farm in Scarborough, the grounds there are rustic but exquisite. It is definitely at the top of my list of favorite places I have photographed. This was such a fun, relaxed wedding, family and friends surrounded Chris and Emily and celebrated with them with dancing and laughter and hugs...it was beautiful to witness. Speaking of beautiful just look at Emily!
The next weekend was a wedding right here in Bristol at The 1812, I love working with Sarah at The 1812 she keeps things running smoothly and is SO easy to work with. Jemma and Anne were my first same sex wedding, I cannot express what an amazing experience it was, their love was palpable, their giddiness contagious the whole thing was a joy from start to finish. Jemma chose to wear a fitted blue suit with a tie to match the sash on Anne's simply elegant dress. They were both glowing!
A weekend break(which really wasn't since we had a gymnastics event scheduled for that weekend) and then we were back to The Fort and The Contented Sole for the wedding of Amanda and Matt. The day started with a few nerves but ended with everyone having so much fun! (including Paul and I, we even got to dance! Thank You both for allowing us that dance, it's the first time we have danced together in probably 10 years). Amanda looked stunning in her dress with her classic red rose bouquet.
The final wedding of the year happened at The Darrows Barn at Round Top Farm and what a wedding it was! Every last little thing was thought of, the details were amazing but more amazing still was the couple, Heather and Brock invited us into their lives in a way not many couples do, we were definitely made to feel a part of the day and while that is not necessary for us to do our job it is always so nice when it happens.
Heather took my breath away in her dress, (and I think it took her breath away too, girl was IN that dress!).
I am so honored, so lucky, to be there to photograph each one of these gorgeous ladies for one of the biggest days of their lives. Thank You Sarah, Kelly, Emily, Jemma, Anne, Amanda and Heather! <3
